Chicken Kebabs

Chicken Kebabs
  • 4 chicken breasts, cubed
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 3 tablespoons Greek yoghurt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 ripe but firm tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 green pepper, cored, deseeded and diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • small button mushrooms
     
  1. Mix together the cubes of chicken, garlic, yoghurt, olive oil, salt, and pepper and chill for 4 to 5 hours (or overnight if possible).
  2. Light the charcoal in the ‘Fagou’ in good time so that the flames die down and the most intense heat passes before cooking (generally about 15 to 20 mins).
  3. Thread the chicken onto the small skewers, alternating with the green pepper, tomato, onion and mushrooms.
  4. When the charcoal is ready, place the skewers on the ‘Fagou’ and switch on the motor. Sit back and …….
